One of the most exciting options for patients who are missing all or most of their teeth are implant dentures. Dr. Grapevine is pleased to be one of the few dentists in the area with the training and experience to provide patients with coordinated care for implant dentures, also known as “All on Four” or “Teeth in a Day”.

Benefits of Implant Dentures
There are many benefits of an implant denture compared to a traditional removable denture including:
- Improved retention (no slipping)
- Improved health of bone and gums
- Ability to eat without restrictions
- No adhesives or soaking needed
How Do Implant Dentures Work?
Implant dentures can be fabricated for either the upper and/or lower teeth. The procedure involves the placement of several dental implants to support the denture. In some cases, as few as four implants may be used - thus the name "All on Four".
Most patients will receive an immediate restoration of either the permanent or a temporary denture to replace function and aesthetics during the healing process.

How much do implant dentures cost?
It is difficult to come up with a ball park estimate for patients interested in implant dentures without examining their condition first. There are a number of factors that contribute to the cost of the procedure including the health of the bone and the type of denture chosen. In some cases, Dr. Grapevine may be able to retrofit an existing denture to be used with the dental implants.
What are mini implants?
Mini dental implants are identical to traditional dental implants except they are smaller in diameter. Dr. Grapevine may use a mini implant in select "Teeth in a Day" procedures.
