Dr. Jacob Grapevine is a certified Bioclear® dentist in Plano, TX. He is certified to provide Bioclear for “black triangles” as well as the back teeth.
Black triangles are dark spaces or gaps between the teeth and the gumline. During training, Dr. Grapevine learned how to treat notches in the gum line, gum line recession, simple black triangles, and black triangles on multiple teeth. Dr. Grapevine also learned how to provide Bioclear for posterior, or back teeth. He can now provide Bioclear with minimal tooth preparation, decreased sensitivity, and reduced need for root canal treatment.
What is Bioclear®?
Bioclear is a conservative treatment option and alternative to dental veneers. This treatment uses resin and plastic matrices to create a mold to rebuild the tooth structure. Patients with black triangles or gum recession benefit from Bioclear because it provides more structure and support to the teeth and gums.
Bioclear may be completed in just one visit to our dental office. During treatment, we use a composite resin that blends in with the rest of your natural smile. Bioclear also comes with additional benefits:
- Cost-effective treatment
- Stain-resistant restoration
- Immediate results
- Tooth preservation
- Minimally invasive treatment
Please contact our office if you have black triangles, damaged teeth, or small-sized teeth. We will help create a comprehensive dental treatment plan to meet your needs.
Bioclear Treatment in Plano, TX
To begin treatment, we will clean the teeth and gums. Then, we surround each tooth being treated with a thin plastic matrix. These matrices form a mold for the shape of the teeth. We inject warmed composite resin within the matrices to fill the form. The resin is hardened using UV light. Finally, we shape and polish the new tooth.
Because Bioclear treatment requires healthy teeth and gums for effective results, Dr. Grapevine may recommend periodontal treatment or root canals prior to your care. Infection-free teeth and gums ensure that Bioclear lasts for years to come.
