Many patients experience dental anxiety. To give our patients as comfortable an experience as possible, we offer three forms of dental sedation. The goal of sedation dentistry is to relax you and increase your comfort level.

Nitrous Oxide Dental Sedation

Nitrous Oxide sedation, or laughing gas, is the most common method we use. It relaxes you during your appointment while still being aware of your surroundings and enables you to drive yourself home afterwards.

Oral Sedation Dentistry

Oral sedation is a pill we prescribe that you take before the procedure that provides a moderate relaxation level similar to falling asleep. This requires you to have an escort to and from the office.

IV Dental Sedation

Intravenous or IV sedation is administered by a medical anesthesiologist in our office and you are under his care for the entire length of the procedure. This is similar to a deep sleep and little remembrance of the procedure.

Our focus is on each individual patient. We provide personal attention and care, with your concerns in mind. If you are interested in learning more about our sedation dentistry options, please contact us.
